Since the 14th December 2007 all Domestic properties offered for Sale in England and Wales require a Home Information Pack.

Before active marketing is commenced the Home Information Pack must be ordered.

It is likely that before the end of 2008 a number of Pack documents including the Energy Performance Certificate will have to be in place before the property is offered on the open market.

At the present time the Inclusion of a Home Condition Report in a Home Information Pack is optional although in the current competitive housing market it is highly recommended.
